Coffee with the Curator

Do you enjoy local history? Grab your coffee and join us Wednesday, April 21, at 10:30 AM for Coffee with the Curator in our Great Hall! Our curator, Zach Dressel, will facilitate a discussion on a topic relating to our county’s history and present items from the Cleveland County Historical Collection.

During the early part of the 20^th Century the Rosenwald Fund provided the funding necessary to build nearly 5,000 schools for African American children throughout the South.  Join curator Zach Dressel as he takes an in-depth look at the history of “Rosenwald Schools” and their importance in Cleveland County which had a dozen schools of its own.
