Coffee with the Curator

On March 16^th, join Earl Scruggs Center Curator Zach Dressel on a special tour of the Lawndale Museum.  The Lawndale Museum offers a great opportunity for visitors to learn the history of how a town grew up around one of Cleveland County’s first Cotton Mills in the late 19^th century.  The museum houses a unique story and a unique collection of rare and historically significant artifacts that can be found in only one place.  This tour is part of a series of Coffee with the Curators that will focus on Cultural Resources that are open to the public across Cleveland County.  Those wishing to attend the tour should plan to arrive at the Lawndale Museum (114 Piedmont Dr., Lawndale, NC 28090) at 10:30 AM on March 16^th.
