Musical Explorations – Kids Banjo Concert

Every day is Banjo Day at the Earl Scruggs Center, but May is Banjo Month for Musical Explorations. For this special experience, instructor Justin Harper will teach young learners about the fascinating history of the banjo and demonstrate various playing styles through a fun, interactive concert. Kids will then have the opportunity to enjoy a banjo petting zoo.

For the safety of participants, instruments will be disinfected prior to the program and participants will only be allowed to touch their assigned instrument. We will use social distancing guidelines to spread participants out in the workshop room. Face coverings are required, per North Carolina and ESC guidelines.
