Have a Skele-Fun Day at the Earl Scruggs Center!

Join us for fun, family-oriented, COVID-19 friendly activities for all ages!

 

 Bring the children to the Center for FREE ADMISSION! Halloween costumes are encouraged.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Bring your kids to TRICK-OR-TREAT at the Center! We will have candy bags available for the first 30 kids to visit.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Can you guess how many candy corns are in the jar in Guest Services? From 10am on October 22 to 3pm on October 31, stop by Guest Services to guess the number of candy corn in the jar for a chance to win a SKELE-FUN gift basket!

 

 

 

 

 

Join us as storyteller Ron Gulledge brings local and regional folklore to life at the Earl Scruggs Center. Learn about how “Jack Tales,” passed down through many generations of storytelling families in the North Carolina mountains, played an important role in early Appalachian culture.
