Make a Gift

Your financial gift allows visitors to explore the legacy of Earl Scruggs and the history and heritage of the place that gave birth to both this legendary man and his music. With your support, we are able to offer engaging exhibits, special events space, educational programming for youth and adults, and ongoing resources for today, tomorrow, and the future.

Gifts may also be made in honor or memory of someone.  Our staff will send a card to the person being honored or to a designated representative for memorials.  Contact us to learn more.  704-487-6233 or info@earlscruggscenter.org

To give now, click the button at the bottom of the page to be taken to a secure transaction site. Please designate one of the following in the comments field: Undesignated, Adopt A Bus, or Play It Forward! (brief descriptions below)

UNDESIGNATED

Your undesignated gift will support the Earl Scruggs Center’s mission critical activities such as exhibit updates, new special exhibits, educational programming, and community engagement events.

ADOPT A BUS

A gift to the Adopt a Bus program provides funding for children to experience music, history, and culture through a field trip to the Earl Scruggs Center. This includes exhibit access, activities, and educational programming tied directly to North Carolina curriculum standards.

PLAY IT FORWARD!

Give the gift of music to a child. The Play It Forward program supplies beginner instruments on loan to youth and provides an opportunity for them to learn to play and build self confidence with music.

LEAVE A LEGACY

What is the most common and simplest way to provide for the future of the Scruggs Center, The Gibson Theatre, or Destination Cleveland County?

Include us in your will as a charitable bequest or add us to your will as a recipient of a portion of your estate. We invite you to build a tradition of giving – to honor the legacy of Earl Scruggs and to invest in our community for years to come.

For more information about making a planned gift, please contact Mary Beth Martin, Executive Director, at 704.487.6233 or Marybeth@earlscruggscenter.org.

Thank you for considering an investment in the mission of the Earl Scruggs Center!
