HOLIDAY CLOSINGS The Earl Scruggs Center is closed for the following holidays: New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Thanksgiving Friday, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Day After Christmas.

The Earl Scruggs Center cares deeply about the well-being of our visitors, volunteers and staff. In the interest of safety and to reduce the risk of transmission of COVID-19 in our community, the museum will operate at 50% capacity as well as implementing the following safety measures:
- - Set flow of galleries.
- - Masks are required for all employees, volunteers, and visitors.
- - Exhibits will be disinfected after each visit with some areas closed.
- - Hand sanitizing stations located throughout the facility.
- - If staff, volunteer, or visitor feel ill, we ask that you stay home.

|The Earl Scruggs Center is pleased to announce free exhibit admission between Memorial Day and Labor Day for all active duty military personnel and their families and for veterans.|
Group ToursVisitors from around the world travel to the Earl Scruggs Center to discover the life and career of the legendary banjo master and the region that shaped him. Self-guided tours of our immersive long-term exhibits and special exhibits are available year round and are ideal for classes, business teams, community groups, family reunions, bus tours, clubs, and other organizations.
The Earl Scruggs Center warmly welcomes your group. Discounted rates are available for groups of 20 or more adults and to school groups of 30 or more students. To receive a special group rate, please make your reservation at least 72 hours in advance of your group’s visit by calling 704-487-6233 or emailing firstname.lastname@example.org. To expedite your check-in process upon arrival, payment is due in advance or upon arrival at the Center and must be paid in a single transaction.
Motorcoach groups are welcome! Contact us to learn about fun and engaging experiences that promise to make a visit to the Center one they will remember for years to come!
