For Coffee with the Curator in October, Join Earl Scruggs Center Assistant Director and Curator Zach Dressel and Dr. June Hobbs for a tour of Shelby’s oldest public burying ground. Sunset Cemetery, located on Sumter St., offers the perfect setting for Fall and this tour will offer a unique look at some of Cleveland County’s most interesting residents. The tour will take place on October 22nd at 10:30am with limited space available. Registrants are asked to wear closed toed shoes and long pants. A fair amount of walking will be required.
