For Coffee with the Curator in November, join Earl Scruggs Center Assistant Director and Curator Zach Dressel on a special walking tour of West Marion Street. Located in Uptown Shelby, this eclectic street has been a main thoroughfare for over 150 years making it a prime building location for some of the city’s most prominent citizens. The quarter mile route will detail the histories of homes that date back to mid-19th century and Zach will guide attendees through some of Shelby’s biggest preservation successes and failures. Be sure to register in advance as space is limited. Be sure to also bring comfortable closed toed shoes and bundle up for cooler weather. The tour will take place on November 18th at 10:30.
