DESCRIPTION:Join us for Pickin’ on the Square!\n\nGrab your lawn chair\, pack a picnic\, and gather your family and friends for a toe-tapping day of music\, community\, and summertime fun at the Earl Scruggs Center!\n\nMark your calendars for the second Saturday of June & July and head to the court square beginning at 11 am for an exciting live performance by Roving Roots and Friends. Their energetic blend of bluegrass and roots music is sure to get your feet moving and your hands clapping!\n\n Live Concert with Roving Roots and Friends: 11 am – 12 pm Community Jam Session led by Roving Roots and Friends: Immediately following the concert\n\nAfter the show\, musicians of all ages and skill levels are invited to join the jam session. Bring your banjo\, guitar\, fiddle\, mandolin\, bass\, or simply come ready to listen and enjoy as the music continues in true bluegrass fashion!\n\nWhether you’re an experienced picker\, a casual music lover\, or looking for a fun way to spend a Saturday in Uptown Shelby\, Pickin’ on the Square is the perfect place to connect\, relax\, and celebrate our region’s rich musical heritage.\n\nRain or shine\, the music plays on! In case of inclement weather\, the event will move indoors to the Great Hall of the Earl Scruggs Center.\n\nCome make memories\, meet fellow music lovers\, and experience the joy of live music in the heart of Shelby.
