Daniel Coston is a photographer, writer, and documentarian of music from throughout the 20th century. In this presentation, he will discuss the people and places that make up his book, There Was A Time. There was a Time, was the first-ever book on the Rock & Roll scene in North Carolina. This presentation will discuss music throughout the state and highlight various musicians who helped to form a music scene which would have a lasting legacy.
Some of the bands represented in Daniel’s book include: The Paragons, The Grifs, The Stowaways, the Bondsmen, and The Good Earth.
