Coffee with the Curator

Our curator, Zach Dressel, will facilitate a discussion on a topic relating to our county’s history and present items from the Cleveland County Historical Collection.

In honor of Women’s History Month, join Earl Scruggs Center Curator, Zach Dressel, in taking a look at the life of Fay Webb Gardner.  With help from Natalie Bishop, who is the Associate Dean and University Archivist of the Dover Library at Gardner Webb University, we will explore the Ralph Gardner and Fay Webb Gardner collections and talk about how they illustrate the life of a woman who was known as political organizer, fundraiser, and community ambassador.
