Volunteer Appreciation Day 2021

Volunteer” defined. (a) An individual who performs hours of service for a public agency for civic, charitable, or humanitarian reasons, without promise, expectation or receipt of compensation for services rendered, is considered to be a volunteer during such hours.

National Volunteer Week is an opportunity to recognize the impact of volunteer service, to build stronger communities and be a force that transforms the world. Today, we shine a light on the people and thank volunteers who lend their time, talent and voice to make a difference at the Earl Scruggs Center.

Volunteers are vital members of the Earl Scruggs Center team. Our goal is to provide rewarding experiences utilizing each individual’s time, talents and interests. Opportunities cover a wide range of skills, age groups, and schedules. Whether you volunteer as a gallery host, with programs and events, or with collections –  we recognize and celebrate all.
