Programs 2nd and Up

Gallery Visit Plus

Our galleries are filled with interactive, multi-sensory components that ignite curiosity.  Learners can use headphones to listen to oral histories, instruments or radio shows, or engage with our state-of-the-art Common Threads touch screen table.  Our programs can easily be customized by educators based on your time, budget and students.

Music & Stories Gallery Visit

See and do everything that the Earl Scruggs Center has to offer with visits to our galleries and our banjo petting zoo.  Educators and learners will be warmly welcomed by our staff and oriented to our exhibit galleries as well as our banjo petting zoo where all can try their hand at picking.  Everyone will receive a set of earbuds that they can use in the interactive exhibits, allowing them to enjoy the music and oral histories of our area.  Educators are able to choose from an assortment of activity sheets, available on our website, designed with a variety of grade levels and learning styles in mind.
